Lady Louisa's Christmas Knight

Lady Louisa's Christmas Knight
is a delightful historical romance.  This is the first work by this author that I remember reading and I definitely have to look for the rest of this series as I am impressed by the beautiful mixture of romance, poetry, humor and practicality portrayed in this book.  I enjoyed the word portraits painted...from the hero's discussions with various of his animal friends to the fancy steps displayed by his stallion Sonnet to the wonder displayed by the heroine as she discovers someone that she can be herself with.  My Amazon review is at this link.  I am always appreciative of a 'yes, this was helpful' vote if you are so inclined.

Previous related novels include:
The Heir, The Soldier, Lady Sophie's Christmas Wish, The Virtuoso, and Lady Maggie's Secret Scandal

Browsing around Amazon revealed the delightful package available in Kindle format for the first three in the series which form the 'Duke's Obsession' bundle at a bargain price.  Yum!

  1. Madam Reading Addict, thanks much for those kind words regarding Louisa and Joseph's story. He is one of my favorite heroes, a man with a heart of gold beneath a gruff exterior, while Louisa is a lady much in need of wishes come true. And what better time for that than the holidays?

Hope many others find the story as enjoyable as you did, and thanks again.

  2. I was so entertained by his combination of pragmatism and self-effacement but his ability to get things done and his care for others translates well into a testament for his qualifications to be an excellent mate1 A delightful read. Thank you so much for visiting!
