Twist of Fate by Shawna C. Jones (Virtual Book Tour, Guest post and excerpt) Goddess Fish Tours

 I am happy to have the opportunity to share a guest post by Shawna C. Jones today.

******************

Greetings ELF! Thank you for allowing me to visit your blog today.

There are several themes in my novel, Twist of Fate, and I wanted to share some thoughts about one of them: Living as a starseed.

First of all, what is a starseed?  It is someone who originated on another planet or star, not here on earth. Although a lot of us starseeds have had numerous lifetimes here, we have a longing for our true home. This place does not feel like home to us, and we feel like foreigners or aliens. This leaves us feeling lonely, strange, different, and outside the norm of our families. We are known to be the dark sheep.

Most starseeds have a mission or purpose here that we volunteered for. I am a planetary healer and signed up for this job, whether I get recognition or not. My job is to anchor or seed more light into this planet, as hard as that is. I am not the only one working on this, as there are many, many others doing this great work. We are here, as well, to be witnesses to the UFO’s that will be showing up more and more. Don’t panic. They are here to help, and starseeds will help calm the masses.

I wasn’t going to talk about starseeds in my novel, which is based on true events. But my soul insisted, so I reluctantly talked about it, even though I didn’t use the word “starseed” but alluded to it. I knew it might sound crazy, so I had to prepare for that. This book is not for everyone, but to say it is just a starseed journey would diminish the travel and romance parts of the story. Falling in love was the last thing on my mind, but fate has her way. Just a reminder that some things can’t be changed, unless we change our choices. Why is it so hard to do the right thing sometimes?
Anyway, as difficult as it was to write the novel, I am glad I did it. And I sure am glad it’s finished. Reliving the past over and over is trying on the nerves and psyche. I do hope the lessons help others, and most of all prevent others from making the same mistakes I did.

I have included some starseed questions below, so others could decide for themselves if they are starseeds. And if you are, you can decide to stay in the closet or come out and join us. We’re here to support you. Welcome Home!

Starseed Questions

Do you have a feeling you don’t belong here on Earth?
Do you feel like an outsider in your family, and always have to fit in no matter where you go?
Do you have a feeling you belong to another star or planet, and love looking at the stars?
Do you experience Earth as being a violent, chaotic place and can’t bear abuse or cruelty to others?
Do you believe in the existence of UFO’s and extra- terrestrial beings, and like to watch science fiction, or read books about these things?

Twist of Fateby Shawna C. Jones

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:
Shawna grew up with a secret that she couldn't share with anyone. She thought of it as her "inner demon" and it shaped her life. When she became an adult, it sent her on a quest to try to find her Real Home. In Paris, she fell in love with a fellow traveler who changed her life, for better or worse. Their relationship was full of discovery and of lessons learned.
How could she come to terms with her "inner demon"? Can we change our fate or karma? Does love really conquer all?
This book is based on a true story of an independent woman's search for her true self and the meaning of life, and how she found answers in unexpected places.
EXCERPT
“Are you alright?” I asked, touching her hands, which were now empty, but still shaking a bit.
“I will be. Give me a minute.” She closed her eyes.
I bent down and started picking up the pieces of the cup. Tea leaves were splashed everywhere. One group looked like Tower Bridge, but one group caught my eye. As I looked at it closely, it seemed to be a face. I couldn’t tell if it was male or female, but it had slits for eyes and mouth. I tried to get closer still, when my aunt’s foot tapped it and it disappeared.
I quickly picked everything up and went to get a broom and dustpan. My aunt looked at me and smiled a little.
“I’ll take care of everything. You just relax.” I went inside and came back out. I cleaned everything up. When I came back out I found her standing at the edge of the patio; she was staring at the ocean.
She turned and looked at me. Color had come back into her face and she appeared calm.
“I don’t know what happened there. But there was definitely an unknown entity around. You have a lot of protection around you. Make sure white light surrounds you at all times. Be very careful of the future you’re stepping into. Some of it is a problem. I don’t like it. I don’t like it at all.”
“I’ll change it.”
“Yes. Some of it, you might be able to. You can always try.” She didn’t sound convincing.
“You don’t know what it is?”
“No. But veils are not a good sign. Just be careful and try not to be too concerned about anything.”
“You know that won’t happen.” We both smiled. I hugged her tightly. What would I do without her?
I knew I liked to live in the fast lane. Perhaps I would have to move over to the slow lane for a while. No. That would not be me. And besides, Paris was waiting for us.
 Lesson: Always protect yourself. And when a psychic warns you, pay extra close attention.
During the course of the Virtual Book Tour, Twist of Fate will be available for only $0.99.
  9. @vitajex: I do think there are some who do not feel like aliens, but maybe as outsiders. I know several people who fit that description.
    @Tanya: In reading, "The Arcturian Anthrology", they claim we have alien coding thanks to the Annuaki, who manipulated our DNA with the primates. Our DNA definitely needs to be reactivated.
    @Mary Anne: Thanks so much for your comment. My ebook is 99 cents until after the tour in June. Rick Chappell designed the cover for me.
    1. That is still a scary thought, Shawna...some other entities mucking around with our DNA.
    2. Yes it is. The Arcturian's mission is to protect earth, and they are doing a great job. They look at our technology, and we're still in the stone age to them.
  23. great post! I really enjoyed these questions too.. let's see if I'm a Starseed lol
    Do you have a feeling you don’t belong here on Earth? yes, I've never had non-earthling feelings lol
    Do you feel like an outsider in your family, and always have to fit in no matter where you go? sometimes, I'm an only child and I felt completely different from my parents as a teenager.. wait, that might be a common thing lol
    Do you have a feeling you belong to another star or planet, and love looking at the stars? I love looking at the stars, but I don't think I belong to another one.
    Do you experience Earth as being a violent, chaotic place and can’t bear abuse or cruelty to others? It can definiatly be violent and chaotic, but it's also full of love and caringl
    Do you believe in the existence of UFO’s and extra- terrestrial beings, and like to watch science fiction, or read books about these things? my husband believes in aliens, so I can agree with him, it's surely not out of the realm of possibility. I do love scifi books, movies and tv :)
