Green Valley Creamery Lactose-free mozzarella cheese
One of the worst challenges about becoming lactose
intolerant is that I am VERY fond of cheese. I usually take my lactase enzyme,
but know that if I overindulge, I’m going to pay a price. It was so lovely to
eat this cheese without having to make special preparation or take medication.
I tried eating Green Valley Creamery Lactose-free mozzarella cheese both raw and melted, and it was tasty in both cases. The texture seemed just slightly different from non-lactose-free cheese, but that may have been just my projection since I knew this one had been treated.
The only drawback is
that it took me a while to find the product itself, and I wasn’t able to try
the variety that I had planned on. I am going to try the other products that
this company has (provided I can find them), and I am delighted to have an
alternative that will allow me to snack on cheese whenever the mood hits.
