Smokin' Hot Firemen review (Adult title)

Smokin' Hot Firemen

is an anthology of ADULT short stories edited by Delilah Devlin.  Please make sure to return on July 19, 2013 for my interview of Cynthia D'Alba, an excerpt from her delicious short story, Something's Burning, AND leave a comment on that day to enter into the tour giveaway!

“Smokin’ Hot Firemen” is an anthology of seventeen erotic short stories edited by Delilah Devlin.  The talented authors who have contributed to this sizzling collection do an excellent job of showcasing the different aspects of this dangerous profession and highlighting the sexy heroes who have to be ready to deal with an amazing range of situations.  From Sabrina York’s submissive heroine to Adele Dubois’ awkward kitty rescuer, Lynn Townsend’s definitely feminine firetruck driver, Elle James’ all too relevant tale of the dangers of jumpers’ lives, and Cynthia D’Alba’s wryly ironic tale of a fire lieutenant’s grill-inept neighbor, not to mention Delilah Devlin’s own smoking hot tale of a special birthday celebration to name a few...all of the stories are designed to ignite a fire so keep plenty of cold libations available.

This very entertaining collection of spicy short stories both adds to the allure of the sexy firefighter and emphasizes the breadth of duties they may be faced with.  The delightful variety of authors describe different aspects of a firefighter’s life even as they explore the sensual connection that they form with their lovers who have to deal with the risks that are faced on a daily basis and each author did a wonderful job of creating a vivid tale.  This read was particularly poignant in light of recent events but it certainly does nothing to alleviate the soaring temperatures of the summer season, instead, it makes one very grateful for air-conditioning and engenders a desire to look for other works by these imaginative writers.
