A fundraiser for a fallen friend
I was saddened to read about several tragedies over the past few weeks and am reminded how much we need to treasure those we have in our lives. Those who have connections with Ellora's Cave or their delightfully spicy books may already know about the terrible fate that has befallen one of their cover models, Ruben "Angelo" Riguero-Brito, who was killed recently. Many authors have written very touching tributes to this man who was more than just an very attractive model. That's very sad. Thanks for letting us know about the fund raiser.
ReplyDeleteIt's so scary to be touched indirectly by these acts of violence. I was also on a chat and discovered that someone else was the victim of a hit and run while he was riding his motorcycle. He is facing a pretty long recovery but fortunately survived.
