Earth is dead. Humanity survives by selling the only resource available—themselves. 2689 has signed away his rights as a living being and become décor, living artwork that rich aliens use to decorate their homes. It's a stable existence but a boring one. Until one day his owner plays host to three unexpected guests. Large, loud, and more potent than anything 2689 has ever experienced, this trio of ship-dwellers from the wrong side of the universe awakens a desire he can't ignore.

However, blissful days of sex and companionship with Brog, Desmodian, and Xavis come to an end when 2689 discovers a plot that could land the trio in jail...or worse. 2689 will have to make a choice—stay silent and allow three innocent lives to be ruined or give up his stable life to protect the ones he loves.

Pet fumbled his drink, creating a clink of glass against glass and spilling pink droplets onto the table’s surface. He had encountered Décor Preservation Services once before, at his first auction, when they evaluated his quality and determined what price to charge his buyers.

“And what does DPS want with us?”

Desmodian sounded too calm, considering the tremor Pet felt running through the hand on his head.

Vige scoffed. “Really? A trio of dirty ship-dwellers running around with one of their precious décor, and you don’t think they’re going to intervene?”

“We’ve done nothing wrong.” Xavis ruffled his feathers again, filling what little space remained in their alcove. “Pet was transferred to us legally. Anyone can check the license.”

In a different situation, Pet would have stroked the feathers back down, but he was too scared to do more than stare dumbly from person to person.

About the Author

D’Arcy Arden grew up in Akron, Ohio, where she attended creative art schools and was surrounded by beautiful country landscape. This combination cultivated an interest in literature, art, and the natural world around her. In college, she earned a Masters Degree in Fiction Writing, which primarily taught her that there is no one way to tell a good story. So, she turned around and went back for a degree in Animation as well. This love for both visual and written stories has given her a preference for stories that are memorable, easy to picture, and, most importantly, fun.

That was her main goal when she started writing The Fourth State of Matter—to provide readers with a fun story featuring the three S’s. Science, sex, and spaceships. It is her first published novel, but only the beginning of a great adventure.

Cyborg Exploration series novella
by
Cynthia Sax
ADULT title

This cyborg never expected to become an instant father.

Surge is fascinated with newly manufactured offspring. He has studied them extensively, was one of the few medics present when the very first freeborn cyborg entered the universe.

He’s currently assigned to a battle station with an all-male crew. The probability of tending to an offspring is a dismal 0.0000 percent.

That changes when an unknown ship ventures into the sector they’re protecting.

Nu is an extremely exhausted single mom with a fussy newborn daughter. She has no time or energy for anyone or anything else. That includes a cyborg medic with gentle hands, brilliant blue eyes, and a voice deeper than space.

He claims she’s his female, the one being genetically designed for him. She has heard those types of declarations in the past.

Only a warrior without equal—and some much-needed rest—would prompt this universe-weary mom to believe in romantic love again.

Alien Mate Experiment by Zenobia Renquist (New release spotlight, excerpt) ADULT title

I have the pleasure of sharing a guest post from author Zenobia Renquist, who shares a little insight about her new story...

ZR:  Romance and I were estranged for two years. It was hard to see the HEA through the mire of life. And then I read Alien, Mine by Sandra Harris and Rescued by an Alien by Amanda Milo. There were a bunch of other books I read too, but those two resonated with me. Suddenly, I wanted to write a story with an alien hero who wasn’t just a tall human in space. He needed to be other. Very other.

My first thought was a reptile. You can’t get much more other than that. Well, you can but I wasn’t going to go that far. My brainstorming session turned in a writing session, and the next thing I knew, I was writing the entire story to the detriment of all else. Nothing was more important than finishing this book, and that included making dinner. There were a lot of insta-meals and delivery pizzas that week.

Yes, I said week. It took me a week (give or take a day or two) to finish Alien Mate Experiment. That was how badly I wanted this story to be written. It was amazing to feel that pull again after so long without—the absolute need to write about these two characters and how they ended up together. Romance returned, and it brought book ideas with it. Lots and lots of alien abducted women and strong, alpha Paranormal men who will have their books written in the near future.

Blurb:

Abducted from her world and dropped onto his, she’s as alien to him as he is to her. That doesn’t mean they can't have some fun with their differences.

Semeera needs a plan for starting her life over. After divorcing a controlling husband, she’s ready to enjoy freedom at last. Too bad she gets abducted by aliens before she can decide her next move.

Captain Kader is an alien warrior trapped in a dead-end assignment where he will never see battle again. There are no more challenges to his life, no chances for glory. And then a dangerous experiment brings him an unexpected visitor who changes everything.

They are as different from each other as night and day, but those differences only entice Semeera and Kader into finding out just how physically compatible they are. What should have been a little fun causes the resurgence of a disease long thought extinguished.

If Semeera triggered it in Kader, will others succumb? And will the scientists be able to get past Kader to find out? Most importantly, can a beautiful black woman really love an alien male with scales, claws, and a tail?

Excerpt:

Instead of the elevator, they headed left through a different door and walked… and walked… and walked… and good Lord, how big was this fucking ship?

Semeera didn’t ask the question aloud because she’d been the one to ask for an alternative to the elevator. She just hadn’t known she would be walking a marathon instead.

Captain Kader said, “The main thoroughfare of the ship is built on a spiral around the perimeter.”

She stopped and slumped against the nearest wall, catching her breath. “I give up. Let’s just use the elevator. I’m too out of shape for all this walking.”

“I could carry you.”

“Don’t tempt me.”

“It is no hardship. You weigh next to nothing.”

Semeera gave him a huge smile. “You are so good for my ego.” An ego that had been trampled too many times by her ex’s callous comments about her eating less and exercising more so she didn’t crush him—his phrasing—when she rolled onto him in bed.

The first time he’d said that to her she should have divorced him. Insensitive asshole. She’d almost developed an eating disorder because of him. And she blamed him for her post-divorce weight gain because she’d eaten everything she’d been denied to celebrate. And lots of it.

Captain Kader extended his hand.

She shook her head and straightened. “Nope. I’m good. But thanks for offering.”

“You’re welcome.” He gestured to the side. “The elevator is this way.”

Once they were inside, with her clinging to his arm once again, she said through clenched teeth, “I will not be able to continue doing this—riding this elevator—after lunch. Fair warning.”

“Noted. I shall carry you then.”

“You don’t—”

“I will not allow you to overexert yourself. Nor do I want Doctor Gyan berating me for causing you harm.”

She met his determined green gaze and almost melted into a puddle of lust on the spot. Of course she wanted him to carry her. She was ready to climb him right then, but for different reasons. “Well, fine. If you’re gonna be all logical about it,” she said in a mock huffy tone as the elevator came to an abrupt halt.

“I shall.”

She gave his arm a squeeze before letting him go and stepping into a gym. “Wow.”

The equipment and the people using it were impressive. The usual suspects of treadmills and weight machines were present. But the people using the treadmills were running at speeds that made their legs blur and the weights on the machines were massive.

“I’m pretty sure everything in here can kill me.”

“I agree. Please refrain from using them.”

“Hey!” She smacked his arm and then regretted it as the sting radiated through her hand. Shaking it out, she said, “You’re supposed to be encouraging and tell me all I need is time to get used to it as part of my acclimation.”

“I would rather be realistic. Your first assessment is an accurate one. You will not be allowed to use any of the machines.” There was a finality in his voice that left no room for argument.

“Not even the treadmills?”

He glanced at them and then smirked at her. “They don’t go that slow.”

“Wait a damn minute. I am not slow.”

“Whatever speed we were walking earlier, if not slow, is not a speed the treadmills go.”

She laughed. “Fine. Fine. Whatever. But I’m not slow. Your legs are just a lot longer than mine, making you naturally faster.”

“This is true of all khartarns, which is why no machine made for us will ever be slow enough for you.”

Still laughing, she said, “I take back what I said about you being good for my ego.”

“Your ego should not be so fragile that the truth hurts it.”

She sobered with a small nod. “You’re right. It shouldn’t.”

Captain Kader’s expression turned worried. “Artist Sssemeera, my teasing went too far. Forgiveness.”

“No, you don’t have to apologize. It’s not you. Just old ghosts haunting me.” She inhaled a cleansing breath to banish her demon ex’s admonishments to eat less and exercise more and then looked around as a familiar scent hit her nose. “Is that salt water I smell?”

“Yes, the heated pool.”

“You have a saltwater pool?”

“This way.” Captain Kader led her deeper into the gym to the pool.

The massive pool. She really needed a new word to describe everything the khartarns had. Their height dictated everything be big compared to what she was used to, but this pool was at least twice the size of an Olympic one, and appeared way deeper.

Several people swam laps, streaking through the water with their bodies stretched out and their arms at their sides, almost resembling thick snakes.

“They’re fast.”

Captain Kader regarded them. “Are they?” His tone was less than impressed.

“You saying you’re faster?”

“Yes.”

His superior tone shouldn’t have pricked her nerves, but the earlier banter about the exercise machines was still with her. She put her hands on her hips and gave him a look of challenge. “Prove it.”

Without the least bit of hesitation, Captain Kader stripped down to shorts that resembled boxer briefs—YOWZA!—and leapt into the pool, barely causing a ripple. He slid through the water like a bullet. Not only did he catch up to the other swimmers who were past the halfway point, he lapped them and was headed back to her before they’d even touched the far edge of the pool.

He surfaced and gripped the edge of the pool, looking up at her. “Satisfactory?”

Eyes wide and still trying to process what she’d just seen, she said in a breathy voice, “Amazing.” Goosebumps prickled her skin, and she hugged her arms. “Oh my God, that was beyond… anything. Do it again.”

He pushed off the wall and was off with serpentine grace. Even with the slower start, he still shot through the water and made it back to her at the same time as the swimmers he’d lapped the first time.

They stared at him in as much awe and admiration as Semeera did. Some voiced words of praise that Captain Kader ignored as he stared at her. Waiting. But for what?

If she said to do it again, would he? But that was silly. He couldn’t be trying to impress her. And to prove that point, she held up one finger and asked, “One more time?”

Deep by Jaine Diamond (guest post, spotlight, excerpt and review) ADULT title

I have the pleasure of hosting author Jaine Diamond, who has an impressive debut novel!  And here's Jaine...

Things I Learned While Writing (Finishing) A Novel

by Jaine Diamond

Since my debut novel just came out, it's a great time to share some tips--things I learned along the path to finishing my first book.

Getting started is the fun part; dreaming up an idea and creating characters. Sticking it out and finishing it is the truly difficult part. But how you start and what you do along the way will have an effect on whether or not you achieve that essential milestone: the first draft.

Here are my tips for completing that first draft you've been working on--or thinking about working on:

#1 - Know your story. Before you get going, you need to know what you're writing. You may be a pantser (writing your story by the seat of your pants, without plotting it out in advance), a plotter (plotting things out in detail beforehand), or a combination of both, like me. Regardless of your style, you need to know what you're trying to say. Whether this means stepping out the story in detail or not, you need to at least know the central conflict inside and out. At the heart of it all, your story is probably about a character who wants something and encounters barriers to getting it. There must be conflict, either internal or external, or both. Even if you are a die-hard pantser, I would recommend you know, at the very least, your starting point and your ending point for the story, so you have something to aim for. Without knowing where you're going to end up, it's too easy to get lost along the way.

#2 - Get organized. I write in Scrivener. I used to use Word. Whatever your preference, set up your files now. Format them, name them, whatever you need to do so you're ready to go. If you have research or other notes, put them in one place that's easy to access. I like to create a "bible" for every project I start. For this I use a simple document in Word, organized with a table of contents. In it I include things like a character list, brief character sketches, the blurb and/or a brief summary of the story, a timeline and notes on the setting, and notes about the format of the book--the POV and the tense I'm writing in, whether it will be part of a series, etc. Once I can fill in every section, I know I'm ready to start writing the book. That said...

#3 - Be flexible. Once you get going and inspiration takes over--and hopefully it does!--be open to new ideas, twists and turns, and trying things out even if you're not sure they're going to work. Some of my best writing, best ideas and best character development, happen organically during the writing of first draft scenes.

#4 - Set a deadline - and stick to it. Write the first draft as quickly as you can. You want to get into the flow and pour that thing out! Your goal here is to write a book, to get that rough draft out on paper. All the details don't need to be there. If you like the mental kick in the pants, consider taking part in a writing challenge like NaNoWriMo (http://nanowrimo.org/), or better yet, the 3-Day Novel Contest (http://www.3daynovel.com/). I participated in the 3-Day Novel twice, and I can tell you it's an awesome thing to experience exactly what you can accomplish in 72 hours when you make writing your one and only priority. I'm now developing one of the first drafts I came up with during a 3-Day crunch into a series.

#5 - If at first you don't succeed - forgive yourself and move on. This one is pretty self-explanatory. Don't get caught up in feelings of failure just because you didn't hit your word count, or you choked halfway through NaNoWriMo, or you keep writing your story into a corner. Go back to your bible, or your outline, or that magical feeling you had when you first fell in love with the idea for the book. Maybe you even need to be bold and move on to another book idea if this one just isn't working out--or isn't working out just now. Be fearless. There are no rules here.

#6 - Seek a little peer support... and/or pressure. I get this from my BFF and critique partner, who reads everything I write, and hears about everything I'm working on. Writing is a solitary endeavor, and you could use someone in your corner, just that one person who champions everything you do... and knows to ask how things are coming along when you need the nudge. This may be your mom, your partner, your best friend, or another writer you connect with online. Be accountable to that one person, so you have an extra push to get going when you aren't feeling it, and the excitement of sharing your work with someone you trust. Which brings me to...

#7 - Write it like no one's every going to read it. For that first draft, this is key. Nothing triggers perfection paralysis more than too many voices in your head second-guessing every word you write. Forget about the potential readers and reviewers. If you write erotic romance, like I do, forget about the fact that someday your mother-in-law might read it. If your peer support person, mentioned above, is even too daunting, forget that they're going to read it, too. Whatever it takes to get the words, uncensored, out onto the page. You can always tidy things up later.

#8 - Don't hold back. Put it all on the page. This goes hand in hand with #7 above. You can always pull it back in later revisions. I think it's always better to go too far and reel it back in later, than to fail to go far enough in the first place. This goes for sex scenes, big time, but it also goes for all kinds of dramatic writing. Safe writing is boring writing. Don't be afraid to make yourself cringe, get angry, get emotional... if the scene blew your mind or broke your heart, it just might have that affect on someone else, too.

#9 - Set realistic goals. If this is your first book, don't expect it to read like a masterpiece in that first draft. Even great masters write messy first drafts. You will make mistakes. You will learn great lessons along the way. You will improve. Be realistic about what you can achieve. The first book you finish won't read like that Jane Austen or Stephen King you just read. It will read like your book. Embrace it.

#10 - Take it seriously. If you aspire to be a writer, treat it like a profession. Don't do it in your pajamas, or while you're distracted by several dozen other things (like checking Twitter). Life will attempt to interrupt, especially when you work from home. Make sure you schedule time to work, distraction-free. As the mom of a 9-month-old, this means I need to focus on writing when my baby girl is asleep. If I don't, that precious slice of time evaporates. Parenthood forces a writer to get ultra-focused, but so should the idea that if you don't take your aspirations and your work seriously, you probably will never finish that book!

Those are my tips! If you're struggling with finishing that first draft, I hope some of these pointers help you over the hurdles.

I'm a girl who loves a celebration, so be sure to celebrate when you finish that first draft. You deserve it! A lot of would-be writers never get that far. It is not a simple thing or an easy thing that you've accomplished.

Now be sure to take a break from your book. I'd recommend at least a week; more if you can do it. You'll need to come back at it with fresh eyes later, to tackle the revisions. Read something else. Binge watch The Walking Dead or The Mindy Project or Game of Thrones (again)... or whatever you're into. You'll need the break, trust me.

There's a lot more work to do!

Now get writing!

DEEP by Jaine Diamond

is an ADULT title

Genre: Erotic Romance (lite BDSM), science fiction

Blurb:
The more lines they cross, the deeper they get…

Top cadet Lana Marsden lives by the rules. The most important rule of all: no messing around with an officer. She learned that one the hard way.

Now her only desire is to survive the grueling DEEP Training program and leave that scandalous past behind.

When she reports to Station Six amid wild rumors of erotic hazing rituals and sadomasochistic games, she’s not prepared for any of the rumors to be true—or for her insatiable attraction to Sergeant “Catch” Durant, her tattooed rebel of a trainer.

One touch from Catch, and Lana knows she’s in trouble. One night of white-hot ecstasy, and the rules melt away.

Catch knows sweet, sexy Lana is forbidden. She’s his trainee, and her overprotective brother is his best friend. But one taste and Catch knows the last woman he’s supposed to touch will be the one to bring him to his knees. Which is exactly where he wants to be…

A cadet with a secret.

An officer with a secret kink.

A whole lot of rules to be broken.
--

DEEP is the first full-length novel in the DEEP Series. Contains hot men (and women) in uniform, a violated Code of Conduct, and ice cream. Intended for adult readers, 18+.

Excerpt:

“I want you to touch me.”

Lana's blood rushes through her body. Her thoughts rush. She swallows, trying to hold everything back. Trying to hold herself together, not come shuddering apart. Trying not to melt down right in front of him.

He stares at her, the heat pouring off his body, warming her. “Ask me.”

It takes her a moment to process the request. Then she whispers, “Please, touch me.”

Catch’s warm hands skim up her sides, fingertips drifting over the patches of skin bared by the dress. She moans, hearing her voice like it’s not her own.

“Like this?”

Her eyes keep rolling closed. “God.” She puts her hands on his arms to steady herself. Feels the vibration where he touches her, until she’s melting into his hands, until she wavers on her feet.

“May I… may I sit down?”

“No, Lana. You’re going to stand right here, and I’m going to watch you.”

His gaze melts down her face, her throat. His hand traps her left breast like he’s holding her heart; she feels it pumping in his grip. His other hand delves beneath the hem of the dress. He strokes her through her panties, lifting her, weightless, on a wave of pleasure.
She shudders and closes her eyes, and pushes herself into him. Her fingers dig into his arms. It’s all too much. It’s not enough. Catch is stroking her through her panties. She’s in his hands and she’s melting, completely melting, and she’s still kind of floating, she doesn’t know where she is. Can’t locate herself in any of this.

She opens her eyes and all at once she becomes hyperaware that they’re just a speck floating out in the universe and nothing matters, nothing but this, this moment here with him, this tight little space pressed together, his fingers stroking her through a thin bit of cotton, and she’s here, she’s right here pressed against him, his touch sending waves of pleasure through her, her ecstasy climbing toward some distant peak. Catch.

This perfect thing.

This forbidden thing...

My review:

3.75 out of 5 stars

DEEP by Jaine Diamond is a debut science fiction story that is the first in a series.  It details cadet Lana Marsden’s journey through her DEEP (Deep Space Extra-Vehicular and Emergency Preparedness) training and the obstacles she has to hurdle…both personally and professionally.  Finding a man who tempts her to ignore all of her hardwon personal rules and draws her deeper and deeper into a darkly sensual exploration threatens to derail all of her plans and forces her to decide what she thinks is most important for her future, regardless of anyone else’s opinion.

This erotic and imaginative story provides an intriguing look at a unique world and training program.  The intensive training to mold candidates into a well-rounded asset in space is nicely contrasted with the complicated affair that Lana embarks upon, despite all of the factors that should prohibit it.  The gradual revelation of both her history and that of Crash and her brother keeps one curious about the backstory that has formed the characters of these folks and there are still threads that remain to be tied off in future stories at the end of this tale.

I think that the writing and world-building is off to a nice start, although I have many questions that remain unanswered and I would like a more in-depth picture of the training program and many of the characters introduced.  I had issues with the actions of those who are supposed to be in charge, from the initial (to my mind, overly harsh) punishment that allows the unexpected facet of Lana’s personality to be revealed to the flouting of non-fraternization rules as well as the disregard of the rules Lana initially states.  I was confused by the friendship that springs up despite what one could consider sabotage, overt or not, and the deliberate disregard of rules displayed, with minimal effort to be discreet.  My feeling is that it would be difficult to maintain team camaraderie given the sexual shenanigans that are less than discreet due to the disconcerting tendency toward exhibitionism.

Despite these elements of concern, I was captured by the vivid imagery and the intriguing settings and I look forward to reading about Lana’s continuing journey (and to getting some of the mysteries and backstories cleared up).  This was an excellent beginning to an exciting new series.

Eve's Rescue by Sarah Marsh (VBB, excerpt, review and GIVEAWAY) GFT ADULT title

by Sarah Marsh

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:
Evangeline Scott was hoping for a fun night on the town after a hellish day. What she couldn’t have imagined was getting kidnapped by alien slavers and then left to die on an abandoned ship.
Kai Dallen and Roan Quinn were having some bad luck of their own when they found themselves set up by an old adversary and trapped in the vault of a Dhuaation Pharaoh's ship with no way out. When Khaman-Ra makes them an offer they can’t refuse, the two space pirates end up rescuing a ship full of human female cargo. All three males are immediately drawn to one of the beauties and make an agreement to satisfy everyone’s desires. The only problem is, they didn’t think to ask Eve and when she wakes up to find that she’s now married to three aliens she’s mad as hell. By the time all four of them realise their true feelings, will it be too late, as a woman from Roan’s past threatens to ruin it all?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

EXCERPT:

The door swished open as they stepped up to it, and her breath immediately caught as she saw the golden sculpted pharaoh sitting with his bare chest behind the desk while both Kai and Roan sat in chairs on the other side dressed in black leather breeches and vests. Obviously the temperature of the ship was kept on the warm side to accommodate the Dhuaatian fashion sense, but Roan and Kai must have been used to the heat to be able to wear leather. They looked so dangerous and sexy compared to Khaman’s golden ethereal presence, and God, why did they have to smell so good? When the door opened and she got a rush of warm sandalwood and male musk she began to ache and immediately all she wanted to do was go over and rub herself all over them. Which of course was exactly the kind of slutty alter-ego thought she needed to give her head a shake and put her plan into the works, so she purposely looked each of the now smugly smiling men up and down before she turned back to Mhat-Am and said, “You were right, Matty, this place is much nicer than mine. I’ll totally move in, but where are these guys going to stay?” she said with a thumb pointed toward the men.

It was like watching a slow-motion playback when their smug attitude and smiles at her hormone-struck entrance slowly turned down until all three of the huge men were scowling at her, then in turn they looked toward Mhat-Am like they would string him up. It was all she could do not to laugh out loud. Plan “make these gorgeous bastards squirm” was officially off to a tremendous start. She casually walked out back to the main sitting room, running her fingers over the expensive furniture, pretending not to listen when the pharaoh was the first to express his displeasure.

“Mhat-Am! What is the meaning of this?” he asked in a steel tone, which said he was furious, but he didn’t want Eve to overhear. “You were supposed to explain the situation to Evangeline and then bring her to us to begin the bonding process.”

Poor Mhat-Am looked like he was going to be sick. He kept looking back from Khaman and the two angry Sirotians, to Eve, and then back again like he didn’t know which situation was more dangerous. When he visibly started to sweat and stutter Eve realized that she’d been kind of an asshole to throw him under the bus like that, so she stepped back up to the office. Damn conscience, it just had to ruin all her fun.

“Mhat-Am, I think you can go now. I’ll discuss this with my husbands in private and settle things. Will you be back tomorrow so we can begin my lessons?” she asked with a deceptively sweet tone while still keeping eye contact with the three seething males in front of her.

“Yes, my lady. Pharaoh?” he asked quietly, seeking permission to leave the room as quickly as possible.

“Go,” was all Khaman said between clenched teeth as he watched the older man sigh in relief and scurry out the door leaving them with their new bride.

“So, fellas, how was the wedding? Did my new in-laws spring for the good appies? Anyone on my side get drunk and pass out in the chocolate fountain?” Eve asked as she placed her hands on her hips and expressed her displeasure; a look of surprise on all three men’s faces as they suddenly realized why she was so mad was priceless. Sure it made them even cuter, but Eve was determined to punish them for at least a month before she gave in. As her traitorous eyes took a slight detour down her pharaoh’s golden abs, she did a quick recalculation and decided that two weeks was probably more appropriate. Yes, definitely two weeks…

My review:

4.25 out of 5 stars

Eve's Rescue by Sarah Marsh is an erotic ménage science fiction story that is part of the ‘Coalition Mates’ series.  This tale centers around Evangline (Eve) Scott, who wakes up after having been kidnapped and discovers that not only is she surrounded by amazingly sexy aliens but she has been mated to three of them, supposedly for her own protection.  Despite the strong alpha vibe and highhanded actions of Nomac Pharoah Khaman-Ra (Kham) and his heads of security and personal bodyguards, Sirotians Kai and Roan, Eve must find a way to convince these males in her life that she isn’t a pushover.  Hmm…how does one fight against a pair of males whose culture traditionally dictates that they be courtesans, especially with their powerful pheromones?  Where there’s a will, there’s a way, and Eve definitely has the will, or does she?

This delightfully entertaining story provides a creative twist on the sensationalist tabloid tales of being captured by aliens for nefarious purposes.  The horrific circumstances of Eve’s introduction to life on a space vessel is quickly overshadowed by the sensual overload and the imaginative explanation for certain mysteries that have plagued Earth scholars for centuries.  There is a wonderful mix of tongue-in-cheek humor and intensely spicy interludes and one is hardpressed to feel too sorry for this woman who has three very sexy males determined to woo her.  This is the first story in this series that I have read and there is no problem reading it as a stand-alone, but wow, given the events in this story and the glimpses of some of the characters who evidently have had their own adventures, I am anxious to read the rest in the series.  A fun, sexy, imaginative quick read that will undoubtedly require that one have a cold drink and/or a hot partner nearby!

Half Man. Half Machine. All Hers.

Rage, the Humanoid Alliance’s most primitive cyborg, has two goals—kill all of the humans on his battle station and escape to the Homeland. The warrior has seen the darkness in others and in himself. He believes that’s all he’s been programmed to experience.
Until he meets Joan.

Joan, the battle station’s first female engineer, has one goal—survive long enough to help the big sexy cyborg plotting to kill her. Rage might not trust her but he wants her. She sees the passion in his eyes, the caring in his battle-worn hands, the gruff emotion in his voice.

When Joan survives the unthinkable, Rage’s priorities are tested. Is there enough room in this cyborg’s heart for both love and revenge?

R-Rated Excerpt

“I serve you. You’re my cyborg.”

“I’m your master.” His eyes glowed with pride and passion. “You belong to me, are mine to do with as I will.”

“Yes, sir.” She couldn’t form a longer reply. Her breasts were alive with his touch, his nanocybotics working her like a thousand tiny tongues, concentrated where his mouth engulfed her skin. Her pussy warmed with the friction of his palm.

“Right now, I wish to repair your damage.” He laved her breasts with his tongue, covering her with his unique form of care, spreading his seduction across her entire chest, and she writhed against him, fighting her release, wishing to delay this delicious torture.

“I want my female in prime condition when I breed with her.” Rage pushed two of his large fingers inside her.

She whimpered, the fit tight, stretching her.

“You’ll take me, little engineer.” He spread his fingers, increasing the pressure. “Not today. You haven’t yet earned that reward.” He pumped her, his rhythm fast, hard, squeezing the breath from her chest. “But soon. I’ll fill your snug human pussy with my cyborg cum.”

“Yes, sir.” Joan wiggled, impaled on his fingers.

“I’ll breed with you whenever, wherever, however, I desire.” His lips moved against her as he thrust his fingers between her pussy lips, filling her again and again. “And you’ll deny me nothing because you serve me.”

“I serve you, sir.” Let me come, she wanted to beg yet didn’t dare. He was in control, would give her relief when, if he wished.

“When I tire of you, when you no longer satisfy my needs—”

She shook with want and need and an endless yearning. “You’ll kill me, sir.” Saying the words gave her some power and she wasn’t scared of death, only of not finding release.

“Yes.” He drove into her pussy with his fingers and nipped her breast with his lip-covered teeth.

She screamed, bearing down on his hand, taking him deeper inside her. Her inner walls constricted around him, as though trying to make their bond permanent.

His mouth tugged and pulled at her nipple, extending her orgasm until she had nothing left, sagging against him.

Rage drew her upward with one arm, this demonstration of his strength impressing her. “My female.” He licked the scratch on her face. His nanocybotics warmed her skin as they repaired her damage. His fingers remained inside her.

From the Author

This is dark SciFi erotic romance. If you're sensitive to violence (of ANY kind), please read one of my lighter SciFi erotic romances.

Releasing Rage IS a romance and has the expected romance ending.

There will be at least five stories in the Cyborg Sizzle series.

 Releasing Rage
Being Green (this is a short story with Green as the hero and will be in a yet-to-be named anthology)
Breathing Vapor (Vapor's story - he's one of the new K model cyborgs and had been assigned to Rage's battle station)
Crash And Burn (Crash's story)
Minding Gap (Gap's story)

I expect Intrepid, Vector and many of the other cyborgs will have stories also.
